Winnie Lou Gore, 79, lifelong panhandle resident, passed away Friday evening, August 31, 2018 at the Heritage Community Dunaway Manor in Guymon.

The daughter of Lawrence and Violet (Combs) Gass, she was born April 30, 1939 in the Griggs Community.  Winnie attended school in Yarbrough, graduating with the Class of 1959.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Gore on August 6, 1965 in Clayton, New Mexico.  Winnie was a homemaker and meat wrapper for Brown's Meat Locker in Stratford, Texas for 18 years.  She was a member of the Texhoma First Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Levi Harvey Gass and two great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jerry Gore of the home in Texhoma, Oklahoma, four children: Gerald Lynn Gore and wife, Brenda of Scott City, Kansas, Desso Loyd Gore and wife, Tracy of Texhoma, Oklahoma, Danny Lawrence Gore and wife, Aline of Texhoma, Texas and Jerri Lou Green and partner, Cody Crouch of Texhoma, Texas.  Survivors also include one brother, Patrick Gass and wife, Juanita of Mesquite, Texas, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, September 7 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Texhoma with Pastor Matt Maples officiating.  Family inurnment will be in the Texhoma Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Memorials in memory of Winnie may be given for family use.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
