William Chester Light, 69, formerly of Guymon passed away Sunday September 4, 2022 at the Clarendon Nursing Home, Clarendon, Texas.

The son of William T. and Viola (Smith) Light, he was born August 15, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio.  William moved to Oklahoma City from Guymon in 1985.

William was a truck driver the majority of his working life.  He was an active member of REACT during his life in Guymon.

He is preceded in death by his father William T. Light.

Survivors include his mother, Viola Light of Tomball, Texas and his two children Patrick Light of Haysville, Kansas and Kristina Light of Guymon.  Survivors also include two sisters Louise Bayless and husband, Jeff of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Marie Creekmore of Tomball, Texas, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces and three nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted Saturday morning, September 17 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.  Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
