William "Dub" Jamieson, 88, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at his home.
The son of John Tom and Ada Pearl (Prentice) Jamieson, he was born June 6, 1936 in Childress, Texas. Dub attended school in Littlefield, Texas. He moved from Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Guymon in the mid 1970's. He was a member of the Panhandle Bible Center and the morning coffee club.
Dub was an entrepreneur, engaged in construction and real estate.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Tony Jamieson and two daughters, Kelly and Dianna "Sissy" Jamieson.
Survivors include one brother, Jim and wife, Tillie Jamieson of Guymon, and two sisters, Charlotte Jamieson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Louise Womack of Grapevine, Texas; five grandchildren: Jeremy Nelson and wife, Ensley of Winchester, Tennessee, Jesse Nelson and wife, Alex of Sugar Hill, Georgia, Jaime Rhoads of Farmerville, Louisiana, Nick Wiliams and wife, Marie of Texas, and Rusty Jamieson also of Texas, survivors also include ten great grandchildren.
Family interment was held Friday afternoon, January 3, 2025 in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
Memorial services will be Saturday morning, July 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Dub's brother, Jim Jamieson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to help with final expenses, memorials will be accepted at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942. Friends can sign the online guest book and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
