Obituary

Voisie Frittz, 91, of Texhoma passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon.

The daughter of Joseph Patrick and Nellie Evelyn (Nealy) Wallis, Voisie Wynona was born August 29, 1928 in Indianapolis, Oklahoma.

Voisie and George Merle Frittz were united in marriage on November 19, 1949 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Voisie was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at Memorial Hospital of Texas County and as custodian of the Texhoma First Christian Church, where she was a member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Frittz on January 23, 2009; one daughter, Wynona Cooper; two sons: Donovan Jay Frittz and Dr. Harold Lynn Frittz; two grandsons: Scott Cooper and Damien Dick; five sisters: Laura, Verna, Verda, Patsy and Iva; and four brothers: Foy, Jesse, Marvin and infant, Claudie.

Survivors include two daughters: Yvonne Hass and husband, David and Barbara Dick and husband, Murell, all of Texhoma; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, February 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Texhoma First Christian Church with Pastor Matt Maples officiating. A family inurnment will be held at the Texhoma Cemetery.
