Virginia Lee Mussman, 77, lifelong panhandle resident, passed away Wednesday morning, September 25, 2024 at Wheeler Nursing & Rehabilitation in Wheeler, Texas.

The daughter of James Roy and Hazel Pearl (Quackenbush) Daniel, she was born July 28, 1947 in Boise City, Oklahoma.  Virginia attended school in Boise City, graduating with the Class of 1965 and then attended college at Panhandle State University in Goodwell.

Virginia and Leonard Mussman were united in marriage on October 15, 1966 in Boise City.  Virginia was a homemaker and also helped with the family dairy.  She was a member of the Goodwell Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Hazel Daniel, and one son, James L. Mussman.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 58 years, Leonard Mussman of the home; two daughters: Janice Johnson and husband, Dave of Wheeler, Texas and Lacy Walker and husband, Ethan of Atwood, Kansas.  Survivors also include seven grandchildren: Lane Mussman and wife, Nicole of Tyrone, Oklahoma, Jacee Gale and husband, Kyle of Goodwell, Oklahoma, Trey Mussman and wife, Sierra of Guymon, Oklahoma, Colton Johnson of Wheeler, Texas, Danielle Tanksley and husband, Anthony of Canyon, Texas, and Shy Ann Walker and Rainy Walker both of Atwood, Kansas; four great grandchildren: Gracelynn, Koda, Hazel and Andrew, and three sisters: Connie Daniel of Goodwell, Oklahoma, Janet Cooksey and husband, Pete of Norman, Oklahoma, and Laura McMahon of Amarillo, Texas.

There will be a family inurnment service.  Memorials in memory of Virginia may be given to the American Cancer Society.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942
