Violet Rose Beaty, 77, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Thursday evening, October 7, 2021 at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon.

The daughter of Pearl Friday, she was born February 18, 1944 in Watonga, Oklahoma. Violet was a member of the Cheyenne Arapaho Indian Tribe. She moved to Guymon from Cheyenne, Oklahoma in the early 1960's.

Violet had worked several years for Dunaway Manor, and was a sales clerk with PASW Thrift Store. Violet was very outgoing and loved PASW Special Olympics.

She is preceded in death by her mother, her husband, Charles August Beaty in February of 1990, her son, Robert Lee Friday in January of 2018 and one brother.

She is survived by two sons, Oliver George Martin of Norman, Oklahoma, and Leland Gus Weber of Dallas, Texas, and all her special friends and employees of PASW in Guymon.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, October 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Violet may be given to the PASW. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
