Victor Manuel Vargas, 62, of rural Guymon, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 26, 2021 at his home.

The son of Victor Vargas Orozco and Amelia Armenta Valladarez, he was born August 6, 1958 in Pena Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico. Victor attended school in Mexico, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Education. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Victor and Luz Estela Lujuan were united in marriage in March of 1982 in Pena Blanca, Mexico. They moved to Guymon from Mexico in 1984. Victor owned and operated Vargas Trucking, retiring in 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Luz Vargas of the home, two daughters, Lilina Vargas of Moore, Oklahoma and Viridiana Vargas of Odessa, Texas. He is also survived by one sister, Guadalupe Vargas of Las Vegas, Nevada, and two brothers, Miguel Vargas of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Alfredo Vargas of Guymon.

Family inurnment will be in Pena Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements were handled by the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
