Travis Junior West, 84, of Guymon, passed away Thursday afternoon July 3, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital Of Texas County.

The son of Lee Carl Franklin West and Elizabeth Rose Byrd, he was born June 11, 1941 in Bogata, Texas.  He attended school in Hereford, Texas.

Travis and Linda Kay Ritter were married on November 5, 1984 in Guymon.  Travis worked in maintenance for Hitch Farms for several years.  He was a past member of the Elk's Lodge.  He loved hunting and fishing, and drinking coffee with his many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Chester West.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; four children: Bill Allen West of California, Eddington Earl West of Wichita, Kansas, Diana Lynn Walston of Brownwood, Texas, and Travis Carl West of Wichita, Kansas;  daughter-in-law, Shirlee Blasingame of Guymon; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, July 11th at 3:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
