Tran Cong Le, 77, of Goodwell, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday evening, June 9, 2021 at his home.

The son of An Cong Nguyen and Chac Thi Le, he was born May 13, 1944 in Bac Lieu, Vietnam.

Tran attended school in Vietnam, graduating with a degree in Pharmacy.  Tran was a translator for the US Navy.  He owned and operated a gas station in Amarillo, Texas for several years, moving to Guymon in 2002, where he owned an operated Suds Your Duds, retiring in 2013.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Son Tran and Phuoc Tran both of Guymon, two daughters, Phuong Tran of Goodwell and Linh Tran of Dallas, Texas, six grandchildren and brother Tuyet Tran and sister, Thanh Tran both of Vietnam.

Services will be conducted Friday, June 11 ^th at 3:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Father Jerome Krug, celebrant.  Family inurnment will be in Vietnam.
