Trace Keenan Buttry, 21, formerly of Guymon, passed away Friday morning, November 23, 2018 at the Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas.

The son of Joseph Calvin Buttry, II and Stephanne Lynn Woertink, he was born August 19, 1997 in Guymon.

Trace attended school in Levittown, Pennsylvania. He returned to the panhandle from Levittown in June of 2015. He was a member of the Catholic Church, and was engaged in residential construction.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Buttry, II and his maternal grandmother, Pamela Jo Woertink.

Survivors include his mother, Stephanne and husband, Don Scott of rural Hooker, Oklahoma; his step-mother, Karen Buttry of Feasterville, PA; two sisters, Heather Turner of Campo, Colorado and Emily Ann Buttry of Feasterville, PA; three brothers, John Buttry also of Feasterville, Terrence Watson and Bryton Allard both of Hooker. Survivors also include his paternal grandparents, James and Delores Buttry of Kit Carson, Colorado; aunt, Jaimie Buttry of Oklahoma City; uncle, Chad Buttry of Kit Carson, and numerous cousins including Faye and Nadya Buttry of Kit Carson.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Pastor Stacy Ross officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
