Tony Dean Jamieson, 63, longtime Guymon resident passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of William D. "Dub" and Frankie (Edwards) Jamieson, Tony was born April 7, 1958 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.  Tony was raised in Guymon and graduated with the GHS Class of 1977.

Tony worked in the construction and carpentry industry.  He was an avid sports fan, especially football and loved the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners.  Tony also had a huge heart and spent many hours caring for the neighborhood cats.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie and two sisters, Kelly Lee Jamieson and Dianna Lynn "Sissy" Jamieson.

He is survived by his father, Dub Jamieson of Guymon; uncle, Jim Jamieson of Guymon and aunts, Charlotte Jamieson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Louise Womack of Amarillo, Texas; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Elmhurst Cemetery with Jim Jamieson officiating.
