Steven Frank Stump, 72, of Grove, Oklahoma formerly of Texhoma, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 25, 2021 at the Oswego Health & Rehab in Oswego, Kansas.

The son of Frank Andrew and Leota Pearl (Ahrens) Stump, he was born March 1, 1949 in Texhoma, Texas. Steve attended school in Texhoma, graduating with the Class of 1967, he then attended trade school in Oklahoma City for two years.

Steve and Ann Heise were united in marriage on March 1, 2001 in Clayton, New Mexico. They moved from Goodwell to Grove in 2008.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann on August 28, 2015, his parents, and four brothers, Melvin, Ernest, Vernon and Richard Stump.

Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany Stump of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, two sons, Travis Stump and wife, Tammie of Clayton, New Mexico and Todd Stump and wife, Tomi of Grove, Oklahoma. Survivors also include one sister, Mary Bartel and husband, Norn of Houston, Texas, and one brother, Darrell Stump and wife, Bonnie of Washougal, Washington, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

The Stump family will greet friends Monday, November 29th between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be Tuesday morning November 30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Texhoma Cemetery in Texhoma, Texas with Pastor Craig Sheppherd of the Guymon Church Of The Nazarene officiating.
