Steve Crelly, 65, of Guymon passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home in rural Guymon.
The son of George Patrick and Neletta Joy (Galbreath) Crelly, Steven Francis Crelly was born May 21, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas. The Crelly family moved to Guymon in 1967 from Towanda, Kansas. Steve graduated from Guymon High School with the Class of 1970.
Steve worked as a log technician in the oilfield for McCulloch Drilling Co. several years. He also traveled from coast to coast as an over-the-road truck driver. He enjoyed spending time fishing and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George Patrick Crelly, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Whitney Crelly of Eugene, Oregon; six brothers: Allen Michael Crelly of Isabelle, Oklahoma, Thomas Fredrick Crelly and wife, Kathy of Canton, Oklahoma, James Joseph Crelly of Guymon, Timothy Eugene Crelly and wife, Janice Griffin of Gruver, Texas, Mark Edward Crelly and wife, Annette of Guymon and Richard Lee Crelly of Wichita, Kansas; sisters-in-law, Judy Crelly of Decatur, Alabama and Dail Ann Crelly of Fairview, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday afternoon, October 28th at 4:00 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 709 N. Ellison in Guymon with Rev. Van Heckle officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
