Obituary

Stephen Don "Steve" Chambers, 59, well known Guymon businessman, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the St. Francis Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

The son of Donnie Lee and Mary Ann Chambers, he was born December 30, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He graduated Lexington High School, Lexington, Oklahoma in 1975. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Steve was married to Tanya Boyles on May 21, 1977 in Hooker. He was a pumper with Lime Rock Resources, and owner operator of Total Entertainment in Guymon.

He is preceded in death by his father, Don Chambers, granddaughter, Nikol Edwards and nephew, Christopher Lee Martinez.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Chambers of Weatherford, Oklahoma, two daughters, Heidi McCann and husband, Jason of Guymon, and Stephanie Parlier and husband, Cameron also of Guymon. Survivors also include five grandchildren: MaKenna, Allie, Jaden, Imogen and Kolton, brother, Gary Lee Chambers and wife, Tammy of Searcy, Arkansas, sister, Denise Renee VazQuez of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Guymon Church of The Nazarene with Pastor Steve Lehew officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Chambers family will greet friends Monday evening, July 25th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.. at the funeral home.
