Shirley Ann Seymour, 71, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Friday afternoon, June 25, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of Everett Barry and Verda May (Yarbrough) Dotson, she was born August 17, 1949 in Berryville, Arkansas. The family moved to Guymon from California in 1960.

Shirley and Clifford Seymour were united in marriage on March 6, 1965 in Clayton, New Mexico. Shirley worked as a clerk with Gibson's, TG&Y and Walmart, retiring after 27 years. She was a member of the Northridge Free Will Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Clifford Ron Seymour, daughter, Angie Culver, granddaughter, Bailey Seymour, brother, Ronnie Joe Dotson, and sisters, Laverne Kitchell, Ladean Turner and Marilyn Harris.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Cliff Seymour of the home, two sons, Rodney Seymour and wife, Susan of Guymon, and Kilian Culver Seymour and wife, Haylee of Enid, Oklahoma. Survivors also include four grandchildren: Kory Culver and wife, Apryl of Woodward, Kara Eidson and husband, Jared of Guymon, Brennan Amerin and husband, Preston of Guymon, and Brody Seymour also of Guymon; fourteen great grandchildren, Karanda, Kaitlynn and Kyanna Culver, Hanna and Racie Eidson, Ammon, Braelynn, Laynee, Sierra, Jesse and Riley Culver, Eli & Zeke Amerin, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 30th at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Stacy Ross, Northridge Free Will Baptist officiating.
