Samuel Hernandez Romero, 67, longtime Texhoma, Oklahoma resident, passed away Friday evening, November 3, 2023 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Antonio and Monica (Romero) Hernandez, he was born October 21, 1956 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

He was united in marriage to Sara Orona on July 25, 1996 in Mexico.  Samuel was a feed mill operator with Prestige Farms.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Monica Hernandez, two  sisters, Cleotilde and Martha Hernandez and brother, Ubaldo Hernandez.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Hernandez of the home, two daughters, Ruth and Yadira Hernandez and son, Andy Hernandez all of Texhoma.  Survivors also include two sisters, Benernada and Guadalupe Hernandez and four brotehrs, Antonio, Hector Rene, Mateo and Miguel Hernandez.

Visitation will be Monday evening, November 6th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon, November 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Rock of Salvation Church with Pastor Eleacer Galindo officiating.  Interment will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery, Texhoma, Texas.
