Ryan L. Matzek was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior March 5, 2026. He was 74 years of age.

Ryan was born in Fremont, Ohio on April 7, 1951 to LeRoy and Marcella "Sally" (Cronin) Matzek.  The family moved to Oklahoma when Ryan was nine years old.  He graduated from Guymon High School in 1971.

Ryan had a heart of gold - he would give you the shirt off his back.  He wasn't afraid of work, beginning with a paper route and then working as a car hop at the Arrowhead Drive-In and then becoming the cook.  He worked in the TV Cable business for over forty years.  Ryan was a carpenter, building eight houses and always remodeling.  He was an avid gardener and loved to cook.  He was truly the 'host with the most'.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Brenda; fur baby, Baloo; son, Jeremy and Misha Matzek; daughter, Heather and Shandy Adelman; his grandchildren: Blake, Braden, Jackson and Kennedy; and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister, Pam Brooks; brother-in-law, Michael Salisbury; mother-in-law, Shirley Salisbury; nieces and nephew, and so very many friends.

A celebration of Ryan's life will be held at a later date.
