Ruth Alice (Elliott) Ferguson "Granny", 93, of Griggs, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2018 while surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 3, 1925 to her parents, Robert Theodore and Rebecca Alice (Arnold) Elliott. She married the love of her life, Albert Ferguson on January 8, 1944. To this union was born 7 children and 1 adopted son. She spent her life as a homemaker, drove a school bus and cooked for the Plainview School. She also enjoyed selling AVON to her friends, family, and neighbors and sold it for almost 50 years.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 11 siblings.

She is survived by her son Dayle and Gwen Ferguson, son Rodger and Pat Ferguson, daughter Rita (Ferguson) and Rusty Rhoads, son Darrell and Sherlon Ferguson, daughter Cleta Ferguson, son Clinton and Tracey Ferguson, son Neil Ferguson, son Andrew Ferguson, 14 grandchildren, a score of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the Marella Cemetery with her son-in-law, Rev. Rusty Rhoads officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Ferguson family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to a favorite charity. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
