Obituary

Rose Lee Parlier, 71, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at her home in Guymon surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Melvin Ernest and Mamie Jo (Bryan) Merwin, she was born July 25, 1952 in Littlefield, Texas.

Rose was united in marriage to Daniel "Danny" Mucclure Parlier on August 12, 1967 in Guymon.  He preceded her in death on May 15, 2014.  She attended the Guymon schools and was a loving mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Mamie Jo Merwin; her husband, Danny Parlier; son, Tiny Tim Parlier; sisters, Lela Ann Parlier and Helen Walker; sister-in-law, Gwen Daniels; brothers-in-law, Robert Parlier and David Parlier; grandson, Jeffery Parlier and great granddaughter, Nikol Edwards

Survivors include four children: Rickey Dan Parlier of Greeley, CO, Tammy Lee Parlier of Hooker, Cody James Parlier of Guymon and Keely Rose Martinez and husband, Rudy of Guymon.  Survivors also include 12 grandchildren: Cameron Parlier, Carrie Parlier, Michael Martinez, Alex Martinez, Ariana Martinez, Nicholaus Parlier, Kaitlyn Parlier, Bradley Parlier, Danielle Cruz, Tomas Cruz, Autumn Cruz and Amanda Cruz; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Don Merwin and wife, Betsy of Elk City, OK; three sisters: Nancy Mongold and husband, James of Liberal, KS, Kathy Wilson of Oklahoma City, and Mary Lemmones and husband, Delvin of Elk City, OK; one sister-in-law, Peggy Zeigler of Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 7th with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, September 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
