Ronald Eugene Hager, 82, of Tyrone passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The son of Cecil and Opal (Secrest) Hager, he was born September 5, 1942 in Red Cloud, Nebraska.  Ron was raised in McCook, Nebraska.  He worked as a truck driver.

Ron and Dottie Ellison were united in marriage on March 23, 1988 in Norfolk, Virginia.  They had made their home in Tyrone for 38 years.  Dottie preceded him in death on December 8, 2024.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Brian Hager and brother, Wayne Hager.

Survivors include his children: Bill Hager of Chesapeake, VA, Jim Hager and wife, Nikkie of McCook, NE, Gary Hager and wife, Robin of Wallace, NE, RJ Hager and wife, Laura of Kearney, NE, Brandon Campbell and family of McAlester, OK and Bobbie Campbell and family of Perry, OK.  Ron is also survived by one brother, David Hager and wife, Kathy of Atchison, KS.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday morning, March 29th at 10 AM at the Hooker, OK Cemetery with Rev. Ed Richards, pastor of the Elkhart First Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
