Ronald Bradley Ausbun, 77, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Monday morning, September 15, 2025 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Cecil Ausbun and Doris Lorene Verna Fay (Goble) Ferguson, he was born May 26, 1948 in Guymon.

Ron attended school in Guymon, and worked as a residential handyman.  He was married to Irene Helen Martinez, she preceded him in death.

He is also preceded in death by his father, Cecil Ausbun, step-father, Joe Ferguson, grandparents, Carl and Ellen Goble, and two brothers, Gerald and Leon Ferguson.

Survivors include two sons, Terry and Johnny Ausbun, his mother, Doris Ferguson of Guymon, brothers and sisters, Anita Ferguson of Guymon, Donna Tarver of Guymon, Paul Ferguson of Amarillo, Texas, Melissa Baugh and husband, Eryn of Carrollton, Texas and Russell Ferguson and wife, Kristine of Guymon.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, September 27th at 4:00 p.m. at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.  Family inurnment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery.

The family suggest memorials be given to the Guymon Animal Shelter.  Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma.
