Ronald Bailey Moore, 77, of Guymon, OK, passed away June 12th in Amarillo, TX.
The son of Wanda Jean Cain, Ron was born March 3, 1948.
Ron was united in marriage to Pamela Gaye Gipson from 1968-1973.
Ron was united in marriage to Lawanda Diane Hintergardt on Dec. 6, 1974, in Taos, New Mexico.
Ron served in the US Navy as a Corpsman from 1968 to 1972.
He has made his home in Guymon for the past 23 years, during which time he worked for SPC until retirement.
Survivors include sons William Moore of Atlanta, Georgia; Anthony Wayne Moore and wife Erin of Hooker, OK; Mykel Lynn Stephens and wife Nicole of Bella Vista, AR; and a daughter, Misty Shawn Stephens of Palestine, TX.
Grandchildren include Sloane Moore; Vinson Brancato; Haley, Randy, Cody, and Cory Stephens; Savannah Reid; Kelsey and husband Clayton Alford; Johnathan McCoy and wife Lacie; Mackenzie McCoy; MJ Stephens.
Great-grandchildren: Ellie Rose Borin, Maverick Stephens, Parker Jo Alford, Karina McCoy, Ren McCoy, and another on the way.
Sister Wana and husband Richard Elsheimer. Brother Billy Moore. Brother-in-law Tim Hintergardt and wife Rhonda; Steve Ronne.
Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. And his best furry friend, Maddie.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Wanda Jean Cain; his beloved wife, Lawanda "Diane" Moore; grandmother, Mishie Cain; uncles, Tex and Ted; aunts, Daisy and Elizabeth; father- and mother-in-law, Herman and Alene Hintergardt; brothers-in-law, Henry, Noah, Paul, John Andrew Hintergardt, and David; sisters-in-law, Susie Ronne and Mary Jo Hintergardt; and stepsister, Jo Ann.
Ron lived a good, long life, enjoying and loving his family. He was very proud to have served his country and be a veteran!
There will be a time of visitation with the family on Monday evening, June 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held Tuesday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Tim Brittain officiating.
