Roberto Tarango, 65, of Guymon passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Kearney Regional Medical Center in Kearney, Nebraska.

The son of Estanislao Tarango and Juana Duran, he was born June 7, 1956 in Chihuahua, Mexico.  Roberto graduated high school and attended technical school in Mexico.

He and Maria Socorro Goitia were married and had two sons, Adiel and Alan.  They lived in Gruver, Texas for 10 years before moving to Guymon in 2005.  Roberto worked as a truck driver.  He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  He enjoyed fixing up bicycles and giving them to kids in need, as well as just giving what he could to others.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rosa Isela Carrasco.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maria Tarango of the home; two sons: Adiel Tarango of Waco, Texas and Alan Tarango of Guymon; three grandchildren: Adiel E., Jocelyn and Giovanni Tarango; eight brothers and sisters:  Oscar Tarango, Mary Duenes, Carmen Tarango, Alicia Campos, Jose Tarango, Leticia Sierra, Nirma Mendoza and Jorge Tarango; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosary will be recited Monday evening, March 7th at 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Guymon.  A funeral mass will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 8th at 3:00 p.m. also at St. Peter's with Father Raul Sanchez, celebrant.  Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery.  Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
