Robert G. Rodriguez, 73, of Guymon passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Adelaido "Rod" and Piedad "Blossie" (Vigil) Rodriguez, he was born September 18, 1947 in Clayton, New Mexico.

Robert and Christine Ann Overstreet were united in marriage on April 10, 1971 in Keyes, Oklahoma.  They lived in Midland, Texas until 1973 when the family moved to Guymon.

Robert was a well-known mechanic and autobody worker, working for American Towing/Chain Diesel.  He was  a member of the Elk's Lodge and enjoyed playing Bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jayde Rodriguez; and three brothers:  Johnny Encinias, Richard Rodriguez and Joe Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Rodriguez of the home; five children: Dana Overstreet of Hooker, Robert Rodriguez, Jr. of Guymon, Johnny Rodriguez and wife, Nina of Oklahoma City, Amy Burpo and husband, Damond of Enid and Joshua Rodriguez and wife, Kerri of Midland, NC; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three sisters: Mercy Love and husband, Randy of Oklahoma City, Irene Hernandez and Ida Fernandez, both of Liberal, KS; two brothers: Adelaido Rodriguez and wife, Lupe of Midland, TX and Raymond Rodriguez of Wichita, KS; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.

The family will greet friends on Friday, March 19th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.
