Reyes Moncada, 81, of Elkhart, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, May 4, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The son of Jesus Moncada and Delfina Diaz, he was born on December 26, 1940 in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Reyes was married to Maria Romero; they made their home in Elkhart where Reyes was engaged in farming.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jesus and Delfina, and son, Hector Arturo..

He is survived by his wife, Maria Moncada of the home, eight children: Aurelia and husband, Juan of Elkhart, Kansas and Reyes Jr. and wilfe, Silvia of Atlanta, Georgia, Rosa of Fort Pierce, Florida, Graciela and husband, Francisco of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Minerva and husband, Jose of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Reyes and wife, Maria of Denver, Colorado, Dagoberto and wife, Veronica of Denver, Colorado, Hermul and wife, Velia of Denver, Colorado, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The Moncada family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
