Rená De'et Martindale, 57, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of Bill Lawrence and Lulie Ellen (Horracks) Thompson, she was born July 20, 1964 in Guymon.  Rená attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1982, she then attended school at West Texas University, graduating with a bachelors degree in special education.

She was united in marriage to Robert "Bubba" Martindale on November 6, 2010 in Guymon.  Rená served as a substitute teacher and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Guymon Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lulie Thompson, and one brother, Kelly Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Bubba of the home; one daughter, Pamela Hollis and husband, Wes of Amarillo, Texas; two granddaughters, Paislee Grace and Emberlee Rose Hollis; sister, Billie Ann Laurin of Georgia and best friends, Jan and Tommy Long and kids, Shae and Conner of Guymon

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, March 30 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home with Read Barby officiating.

Memorials may be given to the Oklahoma Heart Association.  Memorials will be accepted a the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
