Princesa Maria Vega, 30, passed away Wednesday evening, July 2, 2025 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

The daughter of Benjamin and Maria Amparo (Diaz) Vega, she was born August 9, 1994 in Grand Island, Nebraska.  She attended school in Greeley, Colorado graduating with the 2012 Greeley Central High School.  She had worked as a waitress, homemaker, and basketball coach for Guymon schools.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, and brother, Jesus Salvador Vega in 2021.

Survivors include her parents, Ben and Maria Vega of Goodwell, partner, TK Watson of Guymon, daughter, Princesa Evelyn Vega-Zavala, and son, Ivan Benjamin Vega-Zavala, sister, Jasmin Amparo Recendez and Fernando of Goodwell, brother, Angel De Jesus Vega and fiancée, Cheyenne Howington of Edmond, Oklahoma, sister-in-law, Yaritza Vega of Goodwell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary services will be Thursday evening, July 10th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Guymon.

Funeral Mass will be Friday morning, July 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Joseph Schwarz, celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 12:00 to 4:00 P.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.  Memorials may be given to Chuma Vega Scholarship Fund.  Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942
