Peggy Mae Martinez, 68, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Tuesday morning, July 24, 2018 at the Baptist Saint Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The daughter of Dewey and Sarah Elaine Hale, she was born March 11, 1950 in Liberal, Kansas.

Peggy was united in marriage to Robert "Bobby" Martinez on November 26, 1968 in Stratford, Texas, they have made Guymon their home since.

Peggy was a homemaker, babysitter for many children, and Guymon Daily Herald carrier for several years, retiring in 2015.  She attended the Guymon Nazarene Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Miller and three brothers, Bob, Max and Donald Hale.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Martinez of the home, four children: Peggy Sue "Missy" Martinez of Guymon, Tammy Lehew and husband, Steve of Altus, Oklahoma, Matt Floyd of Guymon and Nicco Martinez of Guymon.  Survivors also include seven grandchildren: Brayden Lehew, Heather Admire, Kayden Robert Lehew, Logan McConnell, Aubrie Martinez, RieRie Martinez and Emerson Martinez, one brother, Harold Hale of Olathe, Kansas, and special friends, Jason Admire and Jossue Dominguez.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday morning July 30 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at the Guymon Nazarene Church with Rev. Terry Armstrong pastor of the Nazarene Church in Mustang, Oklahoma officiating.  Family inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials in memory of Peggy may be given to the Heritage Community/Dunaway Manor.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
