Patsy Reed, 91, lifelong Guymon resident passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Thomas J. and R. Evelyn (Randles) Fergeson, Patricia L. was born April 24, 1933 in Guymon.  She attended the Guymon school system.

Patsy and Richard F. Reed, Jr. were united in marriage on June 3, 1949 in Clayton, NM.  Patsy was a devoted homemaker, raising four children: Dennis, Peggy, Paul and Tom and had worked as a teller for First National Bank, retiring in the late 1980's.  Richard preceded her in death on July 13, 2006 following 57 years of marriage.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and playing cards.  She attended the First Christian Church.

In addition to her husband, Richard she was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Fergeson and Evelyn and Hap Gebhard; one brother, Paul Fergeson; two sons: Dennis and Tom Reed and a great granddaughter, Brogan Watson.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Spirlock and husband, Terry of Guymon; one son, Dr. Paul Reed and wife Silvia of Guymon; four grandchildren: Nikki Stacey, Kelli Blad, Sherry Williams and Joe Reed; eleven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Tommye Lou Test of Guymon; along with other extended family and friends.

Viewing will be available on Friday, November 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, November 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor David Player and Lanny Wilson officiating.
