Patricia Eileen (Baugh) Trujillo was born on February 27, 1939, in a farmhouse west of Texhoma, Texas during a snowstorm. She entered this world in the years between the Great Depression Dust Bowl and World War II. She spent her early years in Texhoma, on the farm, and the Rafter H Ranch, where she learned many lessons that served her later in life. Possessing both intelligence and talent, Pat danced, sang and played piano, performing regularly on the radio with Ada Coons' "The Personality Kids". Music remained a central part of her life, and she eventually became the keyboardist for her church, Panhandle Bible Center, now Connection Church.

As a young child, while Pat's father was deployed to Okinawa and wounded during the war, he sent a child's nurse uniform that inspired her to become a nurse. Upon graduation from High School in 1956, she enrolled in Nursing School, but that would not be her destiny. That summer, what had begun as a pen pal relationship with Cowboy Marine Bud Trujillo blossomed into a romance and a marriage on August 12. This swept her farther than she had ever been from home, first to California, and then across the United States. This also inducted her into the office of Marine Wife, maintaining a homefront while Bud was deployed three times to Vietnam. She sustained the family of five children and pets while serving as a Red Cross Nursing Aide.

In 1973, after retirement from the Marine Corps, Bud and Pat returned to the Oklahoma Panhandle and settled in Guymon. Pat worked for City National Bank and First National Bank where she became a familiar and trusted face for many in her community. She became active in the Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority, the Texhoma Iris Garden Club, and Ladies' Prayer Groups.

After emptying their nest, Pat and Bud assumed management of the Rafter H Ranch, north of Texhoma. Together they maintained the herd established by her grandparents in 1917 to the 100 year mark. They carved out the sagebrush to build a home and beautiful garden which hosted many family and community gatherings. They traveled throughout all fifty states, visiting friends and family while seeing (and tasting) wonders. They became very active in their church community, prioritizing faith and family. They practiced their ideal of showing love to others.

Pat and Bud relocated to Guymon in 2023 during a protracted illness which Bud succumbed to in January 2024. Pat diligently continued to wrap up operations at the ranch and shepherd its ongoing stewardship. She found her greatest joy in visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoying the endearment of "Gigi".

On February 4, 2026, Pat quietly surrendered her final breath, embracing her Saviour Jesus and lifelong love Bud, who welcomed her into eternal rest.

Pat Trujillo was preceded in death by her husband Bud Trujillo, Parents Lawrence Baugh and Goldie Audine (Kundert) Baugh, brother Dwight Baugh, and grandson Daniel Mahlke. She is survived by five children: Kim Chill, Paul Trujillo and wife Ann, Timothy Trujillo and wife Lenise, Tom Trujillo, and Teresa Mathis and husband Jay; eleven Grandchildren, and thirteen Great Grandchildren, and two siblings, Duane Baugh and Chiquita Grice.

The Trujillo family will greet friends at Connection Church, 1901 N. Lelia in Guymon on Friday evening, February 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, February 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Connection Church.  Burial will follow at the Texhoma Cemetery.
