Oscar "El Grillo" Hernandez, 54, of Texhoma passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Fort Worth, Texas Medical Center.

The son of Meliton Hernandez and Teresa Garcia, Oscar was born June 14, 1967 in Praxedis G. Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He came to the Oklahoma Panhandle in 1994 from Mexico.  Oscar had worked for Prestage Farms.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Garcia.

Surviviors include his two daughters: Bianca Hernandez and Sophia Hernandez of Guymon; his father, Meliton Hernandez of Mexico; one sister, Antonia Hernandez; one brother, Dimas Hernandez; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening, December 21 ^st at 7:00 p.m. at the Roca de Salvacion, 513 NE 18 ^th St. in Guymon with Pastor Eleacer Galindo officiating.  Burial will be in Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico.  Arrangements are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
