Norma Evaline Edens, 95, lifelong area resident, passed away Thursday morning, December 17, 2020 at Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

The daughter of Lester W. and Elizabeth (Grice) Ogan, she was born January 11, 1925 in Tyrone, Oklahoma. Norma attended school in Tyrone.

She was united in marriage to Vernon Hiram Edens on June 13, 1942 in Liberal, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2010.

Norma and Vernon moved to Gruver, Texas in 1964 from Goodwell, she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Norma was affectionately known as the Avon Lady, representing Avon for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Elizabeth Ogan, husband, Vernon Edens, sister, Esther Apsley, and four brothers, Frank, Sam, Dexter and George Ogan.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Barbara Ogan of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews, including Judy Vail and husband, Mertis of Texhoma, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, afternoon, December 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, with Pastor David Moore, Sunset Lane Baptist Church, officiating; interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 20th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Norma may be given to a charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
