Obituary

Norma Jean Alexander, 90, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of William Logan and Jessie Mae (Young) Lee, she was born November 24, 1931 in Frederick, Oklahoma. Norma attended school in Frederick, graduating with the Class of 1945.

Norma and Ben David Alexander were united in marriage on May 28, 1949 in Vernon, Texas. They moved to the panhandle from Temple, Oklahoma 1972. She and Ben owned and operated B& B Flying Service for several years.

Norma was a member of the Guymon Church of Christ, the Red Hat Society and served as board member for No Man's Land Senior Citizens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ben David on December 11, 1994, one grandson, two great grandchildren, and son-in-law, Joe Thomason.

Survivors include two children: Randy Alexander and wife, Lana of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, and Kim Chapman and husband, Dee of Guymon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private celebration of her life.

Memorials in memory of Norma may be given to the No Man's Land Senior Citizens. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
