Nona Gayle (Gribble) Cole, 68, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at her home in Guymon.

The daughter of Donald John and Wynona Bell (Reed) Gribble, Nona was born November 11, 1954 in Guymon.  She attended the Guymon school system, graduating with the GHS Class of 1973.  She then attended Panhandle State University, where she earned her bachelor degree.

Nona was married to Lester "Chuck" Cole in Clovis, New Mexico in 1984.  He preceded her in death on December 20, 1999.  Nona worked for Heartland Healthcare in Clovis.  She returned to Guymon to help care for her father following the death of her mother.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by uncles, Carroll and Leonene Gribble and Dale Gribble of Guymon, along with many other extended family and special friends.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted Friday morning, November 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Rev. David Player officiating. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
