Neva B. Iverson, 93, formerly of Guymon passed away Monday March 6, 2023 at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton, Kansas.

Neva was born June 24, 1929, to Gladys Lee (Nance) and Phil Jones Dow. She was born in the home of her maternal grandparents southwest of Guymon in Texas County, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Guymon and graduated from Guymon High School in 1947. During high school she began working in the County Treasurer's Office and worked there for several years.

In 1955 she married Larry Dyer. They had one daughter, Debra Kay (Debbie) Dyer. Larry died in 1964. On June 26, 1968, Neva married Norman D. Iverson in Trinity Baptist Church, where both were long-time members. He later adopted Debbie. He died in 2011.

She is survived by step-daughter Rev. Ruby Kleymann and her husband Rev. Bill Kleymann, of Newton, Kansas. Eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren survive. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Ledia Dow, one niece and one nephew. Neva was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, daughter Debbie Iverson, step-daughters, Joanna Hueson, Leona Brooks and Mary Danielson, and her brother, Eldon Dow.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at Sunset Lane Baptist Church in Guymon with Pastor David Moore officiating.  Family inurnment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery at a later time.  Friends can sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com .
