Nancy Lee Ellis, 64, passed away Friday morning May 12, 2017 at her home in Kaw City, OK.

The daughter of Clifton "Sonny" and Mona Richerson, she was born November 10, 1952 in Perryton, TX.

Nancy graduated high school in 1970 from Guymon High School.

Nancy was married to John Taylor in 1970 and had 2 children, Stephanie and Jason. They lived in Guymon, OK. John and Nancy divorced in 1987, and she moved to Liberal, KS shortly thereafter.

Nancy married Tom Ellis in 2001 and they lived in Kaw City, OK until her passing. She lived in a quiet lakeside home with her husband where she enjoyed working in her garden, being involved in the local community, and visiting friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie, and her father, Sonny.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Ellis, of Kaw City, OK. Son, Jason Taylor (M'Leah Taylor, spouse) of Oklahoma City, OK. Brother, Mike Richerson of Liberal, KS. Grandchildren, Andrew Taylor and Jaden Taylor of Oklahoma City, OK. Mother, Mona Richerson of Liberal, KS. Niece, Arika Jackson of Springfield, MO. Nephew, Neil Richerson of Elkhart, KS.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, OK. Services are under the care of the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home with Odie Nunley officiating.
