Moni Carol Culbertson, 77, longtime Guymon resident, passed away Tuesday evening, September 13, 2016 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The daughter of Bill Joe and Marguerite (Stokesberry) Gaschler, she was born December 18, 1938 in WaKeeney, Kansas. Moni graduated from WaKeeney High School and attended two years of Business College.

She was united in marriage to Ron D. Culbertson on July 25, 1959 in WaKeeney. They moved to Guymon from North Platte, Nebraska in 1963.

Moni Carol was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was worked for Panhandle Telephone for over 30 years, retiring as office manager in 1999.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Billy Joe Gaschler and grandson, T.J. Culbertson.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Culbertson of the home; son, Terry Joe Culbertson of Guymon; three daughters: Lindy Culbertson of Oklahoma City, Monne Culbertson of Oklahoma City and Tami Smith and husband, Tommy of Guymon. Survivors also include five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, September 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
