Mike Voyles, 74, lifelong Hardesty and Guymon resident passed away late Monday, August 18, 2025 at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of John D. and Viva M. (Gum) Voyles, Michael Lynn Voyles was born January 28, 1951 in Guymon, Oklahoma.  They lived in Hardesty and when Mike was 12 they moved to Guymon.

Mike and Jean Brannum were united in marriage on June 4, 1969.  They made Guymon their home until moving to Hardesty in 1973.  Mike was an electrician for Adams Hardfacing for 26 years.  He also owned and operated Voyles Electric.

Mike loved spending time fishing and hunting, as well as giving others a hard time.  His sense of humor was like no other and he always had to have the last word.  He and Jean enjoyed 56 years of marriage and their dogs were as special to them as their time together.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  In addition to his wife, Jean Voyles he is survived by a sister, Mary Brua of Reno, Nevada, other family and many special friends

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon, August 25th at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.  There will be a time of visitation with the family on Sunday, August 24th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
