Robert Micheal Frittz, 65, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Friday March 17, 2017 at his home.
The son of Otto and Jean (Shields) Frittz, he was born May 31, 1951 in Guymon. Mike attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1969. He attended college in Denver, Colorado and OPSU in Goodwell.
Mike was married to Pamela Nary on February 13, 1971, and to this union two daughters, Michelle and Christine were born. He was married to Jacque Rodman on April 25, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on May 25, 2011.
Mike worked for Phillips Petroleum for 39 years, retiring in 2010. He served at North Guymon Field as operations supervisor. He attended the First Presbyterian Church, was an avid golfer, and coached Kid's Inc. football and softball for several years.
He is survived by his parents, Otto and Jean Frittz of Guymon, four daughters, Michelle Williamson and husband, Steve of Guymon, Christine Rogers and husband, Kirk of Attica, Kansas, Cindy Murray and husband, Justin of Oklahoma City and Tiffany Ralstin and husband, Travis of Guymon, two sisters: Claudette Reynolds and husband, Gary of Guymon and Debbie Straabe and husband, Barry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Survivors also include eight grandchildren: Kaylee, Ashlynn, Will and Chase Rogers, Laci and Trevor Ralstin, and McKenzie and Maddyson Murray, two nieces, two nephews and special friend, Darla Palmer.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Guymon First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carol LaMar, pastor of the Panhandle Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
