On the evening of April 4, 2024, Mary Ellen Bolls Huddleston entered her heavenly home surrounded by her family.

She was born October 9,1938 in Carterville, Missouri to Rodell C Bolls and Audra (Bobbie) Johnson. She was raised in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and moved to Indio, California in the 8thgrade.  She was the only daughter among 7 children, 3 older and 3 younger brothers.

While working at the local movie theater, she met a handsome U.S. Marine stationed at Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Base, CPL Justin Willard (JW) Huddleston.  In 1957, after 3 months of dating, they were married just before JW left for Okinawa Japan and have been inseparable since.  After JW's return, they made their home in Guymon OK, where they raised their 3 daughters, Judi, Karen, and Sheila.

Dedicating her life to the Lord and making a happy home for her family, Mary was a Girl Scout Leader and volunteered for her daughters' school activities. She was a home maker and skilled seamstress, making numerous garments and special items including wedding dresses, prom dresses, and quilts for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

"Honey" as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed flower gardening and working in the yard, reading her Bible and daily devotionals, listening to gospel music, camping, and traveling with JW in their RV but most important in her life was family.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, JW Huddleston, daughters Judi Stavig of Guymon OK, Karen (Kent) Alexander, of Clovis NM, and Sheila (Randie) Wells of Turpin OK, grandchildren, Jamie (Michael) Gatson, Jennifer (Theron) Landes, Ryan (Jessica) Stavig, Randy (Maggi) Stavig, Justin Schuette, Kyle (Samantha) Schuette, Kayla (Kimberly)Baker, Cody (Anne) Wells, and Darin Wells, 22 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren all whom she loved dearly, 3 brothers Cecil Bolls, Kenny (Rlea) Bolls, Dale(Pat) Bolls, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was greeted in Heaven by her parents, brothers Ralph, Milford (Bud), Gary, and grandson Devin Schuette, as well as best friends Helma Mallard and Delilah King.

Visitation will be Monday April 8th, from 6 to 8 pm at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.  A grave side service will be held Tuesday April 9th at 11 am at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon OK.  In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations can be made in Honey's name to the No Man's Land Senior Citizens Center or Caring Hearts and Hands, both in Guymon OK.  Donations can be made at Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942
