Marvin Loyd Andrews received his heavenly wings on January 19, 2024 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County, Guymon, OK.

Family graveside services will be held at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor David Player officiating.  Services are under the care of Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home.

Marvin was born on June 10, 1932 in Spearman, TX to Loyd and Henritta (Behne) Andrews. Marvin enjoyed being a Lay Pastor for many years.  He was also Boy Scout Master for many years and one of his highlights was being able to take boys to the National and World Jamborees. He enjoyed farming and being outdoors. In addition Marvin was also known for making the very best peanut brittle. Marvin was a loving husband and dad. He was awarded Dad of the year in 1970.  He was a very faithful church member.

Marvin married the love of his life Louella Dahl on March 13, 1952 in Gruver, TX. Louella preceded him in death on June 18, 2003. He was also preceded in by his parents, sisters Earlene Peck, Josie Belle Walker, Louetta McClelland and his in laws Oscar and Esther Dahl.

He is survived by his sister Charlene (Butch) Finley Amarillo, TX. Sons Randy (Joann) Andrews, Stillwater, OK, Kenny (Nancy) Andrews Henderson, NV. Grandchildren Ryan (Ashley) Andrews, Edmond, OK  Matt (Jamie) Andrews Stillwater, OK Kody (Katy) Andrews Las Vegas, NV and Kelsey (Paul) Miller, Bakersfield, CA.  Great grandchildren Payton & Gillian Andrews, Mattie & Cade Andrews, Kole & Kendall Andrews, Alexis Miller and Laird Williams.

Pallbearers are Ryan Andrews, Matt Andrews, Kody Andrews, Kelsey Miller.

Memorials in Marvin's name can be made to Boy Scouts of America Troop 163 sponsored by Victory Memorial Methodist Church.  Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.   Friends can sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com .
