Martha Jane Roberts, 87, of Hooker, passed away Friday evening, December 30th, 2016 at the Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Herman Robert and Mary Etta (Curtis) Oliver, she was born January 21, 1929 in Altus, Oklahoma. Marty graduated from Altus High School and attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

Marty married the love of her life, Dale L. Roberts at her home in Altus on December 18, 1948. They made their home in Hooker where Marty was a homemaker, member of the Hooker Church Of Christ and active with the Ladies Bible Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale on December 17, 1996, son, Rodney Kim, parents, and step-father, Walter Hinton, and brother, Robert Oliver and wife, Imogene.

Survivors include three children: Suzanne and husband, Dean Littell of Lansing, Kansas, Bob Roberts and wife, Debby of Guymon and Jody and husband, Duane Hodges of Hooker. Survivors also include five grandchildren: Jeff Littell, Graham Roberts, Jennifer Littell Ortega, Curtis Roberts and Sara Lehman, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, January 3rd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hooker Church of Christ with Lance Morrisett, minister officiating. Interment will follow in the Hooker Cemetery.

The Roberts family will greet friends Monday evening, January 2nd between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Roberts Bros. Funeral Home in Hooker.
