Mark Douglas Mattocks, 52, of Texhoma, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at his home.

The son of Wilma (Appling) and Lloyd Mattocks, he was born February 2, 1969 in Dumas, Texas.  Mark was raised in Texhoma, he graduated from Texhoma High School with the Class of 1987, and attended Panhandle State University in Goodwell.  Mark served in the US Navy, and returned to Texhoma from Amarillo in 2020, where he had worked as a pumper in the Oil and Gas Industry.  Mark loved the outdoors, gardening and animals.

He is survived by his mother, Wima Mattocks of Texhoma; his father, Lloyd Mattocks of Meta, Missouri; three brothers: Jim and Susan Mattocks of Guymon, Wayne and Amy Mattocks of Texhoma, and Michael and Mikka Mattocks of Whitefish, Montana.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family memorial services will be held at a later date.  Memorials in memory of Mark may be given to Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society, memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
