Maria de Los Angeles Alcocer Torres, 76, of Guymon passed away early Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at her home.

The daughter of Pablo Alcocer and Adislada Torres, Maria was born November 6, 1949 in Jaumave, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She had lived in Nebraska and Kansas before moving to Guymon, where she has lived for the past 31 years.

Maria had worked for Seaboard Foods of Guymon and Prestage Farms of Texhoma and was a member of Centro Cristiano Church in Liberal, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Josefat Acuna of the home; eight children: Georgina, Adriana, Juany, David, Pancho, and Negro Zuniga all of Monterrey, Mexico and Clara Acuna and Angel Torres both of Guymon. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and one sister, Rebecca Alcocer of Monterrey, Mexico.

A viewing will be held Friday, October 30th from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel in Guymon with Pastor Mario Laredo officiating. Burial will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
