Lydia Ann Bagley-Smith, 51, of Hardesty, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Baptist Saint Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The daughter of Roberto and Rosa (Castro) Montoya, she was born May 9, 1969 in El Paso, Texas. The family moved from El Paso to Hardesty in 1974.

Lydia attended school in Hardesty, graduating with the Class of 1987. Following graduation she served in the United States Army. She attended college for two years and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Memorial Hospital of Texas County and Heritage Community. Lydia attended the Hardesty United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roberto Montoya.

Survivors include her mother, Rosa Montoya of Hardesty, daughter, Rebecca Rich of Santa Maria, California, son, Shane Bagley of Guymon, two grandchildren, Raelynn Carrillo and Riley Rich. Survivors also include one brother, Robert Montoya and wife, Theresa of Bowling Green, Kentucky, four sisters, Maggie Cline and husband, Rex of Eva, Oklahoma, Esther Salmon and husband, Rick of Amarillo, Texas, Emma Montoya and Ricardo Calderon of Guymon and Sandra Dale and husband, Jason of Hayes, Kansas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday morning, February 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Aton officiating.

Memorials in memory of Lydia may be given to the Mental Health Foundation, memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
