Loretta Sue Jacobs, 73, of rural Turpin, Oklahoma, passed away Friday evening, March 29, 2019 at the Heritage Community Manor in Guymon, Oklahoma.

The daughter of Marvin Clyde and Dorothy Eutila (Lloyd) Childers, she was born April 23, 1945 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Loretta was married to Elton Llod "Jake" Jacobs on March 23, 1968 in Liberal, Kansas.  Loretta moved to the panhandle from Henryetta, Oklahoma in 1962.  She was a homemaker and Liberal Walmart associate for seven years, retiring in 2008.  She was a member of the Trinity Faith Church in Liberal.

She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Clyde Childers and wife, Eunice, her mother, Dot Sheriff and husband, Bob, and grandson, Jason Elliott.

Survivors include her husband, Jake Jacobs of the home, three daughters, Penny Sue Jacobs of Wichita, Kansas, Cindy Lou Hammond of Turpin, Oklahoma and Ila Ruth Werkmeister and husband, Dennis of Maywood, Nebraska.  Survivors also include 11  grandchildren: Jason, Michael, Josh, Meagan, Shawn, Braedyn and husband, Caleb, Scott and wife, Tana, Mike and wife, Jenny, Spencer, Dakota and Calyn and six great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the  Trinity Faith Church, 2264 S. Kansas Avenue in Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Terry Engler officiating.

Interment will be Thursday, April 4 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Cemetery in Clarksville, Texas.
