Linda Lu Harbaugh, 85, of Texhoma, passed away Sunday morning, July 5, 2026 at the Coldwater Manor in Stratford, Texas.
The daughter of Elmer Martin and Jessie Roselee (Bassett) Grabeal, she was born May 4, 1941 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Linda attended school in Griggs community, graduating from Plainview in 1959, she then attended Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
Linda worked as a Riveter in Wichita, Kansas for different aircraft companies. She then worked for the State of Oklahoma in the gas and oil division, retiring in 2001.
She was married to Benjamin Harbaugh in Wichita on April 25, 1970. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2017, she is also preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Martin and Jessie Roselee Grabeal, two sons, Troy Lance Day and Thad Lynn Day, brother, Martin Grabeal and sister, Elenor Rose Castle.
Survivors include one daughter, Belinda Wilkerson of Washington, Oklahoma, son, Thane Lincoln Day of Santa Cruz, California, brother, Rex Milton Grabeal and wife, Billie Jo of Yukon, Oklahoma , sister, Sue Lusk of Texhoma, Texas and six grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday morning, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the Marella Cemetery, Griggs, Oklahoma, with Ron Eggleston officiating.
Memorials in memory of Linda may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. Memorials will be accepted at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
