Obituary

Linda N. Egbert, 65, of Guymon passed away Sunday morning, April 30, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of Roland Odell Hulsey and Vernell (Self) Stough, Linda was born April 23, 1952 in Winfield, Alabama. She attended school in Brilliant, Alabama. Linda moved to Guymon in 1979 from Guin, Alabama.

She and Russell Egbert were united in marriage on August 18, 1990 in Perry, Missouri and they made their home in Guymon. Linda worked as a Senior Production Accounting Clerk for Seaboard. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guymon and loved attending her grandchildren's activites, spending time with family and friends, enjoyed golfing, boat racing and hockey games.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Odell Hulsey; her mother and step-father, Vernell and Merlin Stough; two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Egbert of the home; three daughters: Denise Wells and husband, Jon of Guymon, Lora Noyes and husband, Shaun of Hooker and Darlene Gann of Guymon; nine grandchildren: Marcus & Adriana, Monica & Andrew, Makenzie, Mollie, Amber & Cameron, Josh, Jayda, Isaac and Aniah; four great grandchildren: Nathan, Baden, Easton and Auria – with her fifth, Canyn expected soon; one brother, Roger Hulsey of Brilliant, Alabama along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, May 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Wescoatt officiating. Interment will follow at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, May 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. They suggest that memorials in Linda's name be made to Panhandle Partners. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
