Leonel Sanchez Suarez, 62, of Guymon, passed away Sunday morning, December 9, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of Alfredo and Blandina (Suarez) Sanchez, he was born  October 25, 1956 in La Soledad Michoacan, Mexico.

He was married to Isabel Guerrero on December 14, 1975 in Mexico.  The family moved to Guymon from California in 2000.  Leonel was engaged in farming and plumbing.

Leonel is survived by his wife, Isabel Sanchez of the home, three sons, Valdemar Sanchez and wife, Jovita of Austin, Texas, Hector Sanchez and wife, Geraldine of Guymon and Edgar Leonel Sanchez and wife, Maria of Morelia, Mexico.  Survivors also include three sisters, Elle, Sylvia and Yolanda; five brothers, Fidelmar, Moises, Filberto, Daniel and Javier and seven grandchildren: Ivonne, Valdemar Jr., Leslie, Joseline, Belinda, Evelyn and Sophie.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday morning,  December 12 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in the Elmhurst Cemetery with Samuel Valencia presiding.  Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
