Lee Clark, 79, lifelong area resident passed away Saturday evening, June 22, 2024 at the Ussery Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo, Texas.
The son of Jess M. and Vida Marie (Butler) Clark, Lovine Lee Clark was born August 16, 1944 in the Dombey community in Texas County, Oklahoma.
Lee served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, receiving his honorable discharge in October 1967 with the rank of sergeant. He returned to the Oklahoma Panhandle to work as an aircraft mechanic for many years before starting his sandblasting and painting business. He was a member of the Hooker Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, LaDonna Clark; three brothers: Harold, Gerald and Larry Clark and one sister, Evelyn Bowers.
He is survived by one daughter, Monica Ronne and husband, Shawn, one son, Travis Clark and wife, Susan and his former spouse, Kaye Clark all of Guymon; eight grandchildren: KayLea Clark of Tulsa, Nathan & Macie Ronne of Guymon, Austin Ronne of Guymon, Bradley & Amy Clark of Montana, Keela Clark of Norman, Cytorie & Colton King of Blanchard, Ryan & Missy Clark of Norman and Tyson & Anna Clark of Norman; nine great grandchildren and one sister, Trixie Johnson of Tampa, Florida.
The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Friends can sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.bunchroberts.com.
